WAC lighting unveils Galileo LEDme Track Luminaires

Date Announced: 07 Jun 2011

Garden City, New York – Offering the simplicity and painstaking attention to detail in design demanded by today’s modern lighting, WAC Lighting unveils Galileo LEDme™ Track Luminaires. Galileo maintains a clean form without interruption to the visual line regardless of its aiming direction. This new exclusive design takes inspiration from observatories that sweep the heavens with a 360-degree rotation, without altering its profile.

Available in Black, Brushed Nickel and White contemporary finishes, Galileo integrates form and function with state-of-the-art multi-chip LED technology. This 12-watt luminaire exceeds Energy Star requirements at up to 586 lumens; a direct replacement for a 50-watt halogen lamp. WAC Lighting is a global manufacturer and designer of track, recessed, undercabinet, monorail and decorative lighting.

Utilizing state-of-the-art, multi-chip LED technology, Galileo LEDme™ track luminaires have been designed for a broad range of upscale residential and commercial spaces.

Dimmable with an Electronic Low Voltage (ELV) dimmer, Galileo can be ordered as Spot or Flood luminaires for use with WAC 120v track lighting systems. Additional interchangeable optics are available. Offered in 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white color temperatures, the luminaires operate with replaceable multi-chip LED modules that offer a 50,000-hour potential life.

Designed with a White interior to improve light reflection,

Galileo is 7 inches tall and 3 9/16 inches wide.

Galileo was crafted and designed exclusively in the company’s clean manufacturing campus with in-house UL testing labs and zero landfill status.
